Not me, sorry  :( Can't commit to any specific dates in the school summer holidays in case my d.i.l asks me at the last minute ( which she's likely to do ) to go up and bring the girls back here for a week or so  :(
Perhaps next year I'll have the nerve to tell her to avoid FOQ dates. Also, I'd need 3 nights in an hotel to have 2 days at the show, and along with transport, entrance and food costs it would run to several hundred pounds  :( Our coach company does a 1 night trip, but they've cancelled it this year ( and it was nearly £200 )

I expect to attend the show on Thursday.

I haven't bought tickets yet, but I'll be there with my daughter. She enjoys going and asked the other day if we'll be going to 'that sewing thing again this year'.

It'd be lovely to say hello.

Sandra.

oh really?  :\ I thought, we will buy group tickets, because they are cheaper and we will need them andyway... For how many days did you buy? Two-day ticket? Will Mr. Iminei come for one day too?

@Sandra: That sounds great :) !!

Sakar....

You can buy a mini group ticket

Four tickets in one - can be used by anyone on any day of The Festival of Quilts 2017. Completely flexible so one person can visit all four days, two people for two days, or four people on one day. You don't even need to travel together!

for £47.00 but only in advance,

now I don't know if that will be cheaper than buying a two day ticket for everyone (£26 per person, only in advance)
or Single Day ticket (£15 in advance + the £1.50 or £17.50 on the door)

http://www.thefestivalofquilts.co.uk/tickets/ticket-options/

Also, if you get hit with fees etc (other than the usual £1.50) for the pleasure of being in Austria,
contact me and we will working something out.

As I am entering a quilt I get a (very) small discount, too.

@Low: It would have been great... :(

@Imi: My calculation was, how many people we are and how many days we want to go to the festival...

Theresa: 3 days
Thereas mother: 3 days
Sakar: 2 days
Mr. Sakar: 1 days
Iminei: 2 or 3 days.

That makes all together 11 or 12 tickets we need, so the mini-group-ticket(s) would have fit quite well...

1 two-day-ticket cost 26GBP, 2 two-day-tickets 52GBP.
1 Mini-group-ticket is 47GBP. We could save some money ;)

Sakar, my tickets are bought so please don't add me into the calculations. Im going Thursday and Friday.

Tickets for one day cost £17.50 on the door or £15 advance + £1.50 charge

If you bought 6 tickets for Theresa and mum .... £105.00 / £90.00 (advance)
2 tickets for yourself                                    .... £ 35.00 /  £30.00 (advance)
1 ticket for Martin                                        .... £17.50 /   £15.00  (advance)
Admin charge                                                   £ N/A   /   £01.50

Comes to a lorra lorra cash                                £157.50 / £136.50  (advance)

All the discounted group tickets, 2 day, 3 day, mini group etc must be bought in advance before a certain date
and carry a flat fee of £1.50 per booking charge

The mini group ticket is 4 tickets to be used on any day, one ticket per person...

soooooo ....

Your group is 4 peeps.
With 1 mini group ticket you could all go for one day.
Cost £47.00 (advance = £1.50 charge)

I think it would be best if Theresa and her mum purchase 2 mini group tickets = 8 tickets for any day
Theresa and her mum take 6 tickets (3 days each) leaving 2 tickets over for your two days.
Cost £94.00

Martin has to buy a day ticket
Cost £12.50 advance with my discount or (£17.50 on the door)
plus admin charge for advance tickets £1.50

Total cost £ 108.00

Let me know!

Mr Im came in today from building next doors drive and said " I would like to see your quilts on display, not stay the whole day but it would be nice to see"

One last option is a group ticket ....

As i understand it these are for groups of 10 + and cost £11 per adult so £110 plus £1.50
This would accommodate Theresa and mums 6 days, Sakars 2 days, Martins 1 day and A day for Andy...
I think they even throw in a free ticket for the group leader which we could maybe give away to the forum?!

This could very well be the most efficient way to go!
