Ah, the pleasures of working from home... I sometimes start work in my dressing gown.  Quite often, actually. 

Now I think about it, most mornings...  :|

I wear uniform so don't have to worry about what I'm wearing and we have to wear flat black secure shoes - apparently in case we have to run if a patient goes off !!

I'm not sure about the high low in dresses but I do like it in tops - hides my bum !!!

I can't bear overloaded plugs and masses of trailing wires.  I have eight pairs of double sockets in my living room and three four gang socket extensions, all of which are hidden by furniture.  However, it's a PITA when you need to plug something out.  0_0

I like high-low hems on tops too but I've not made one for a dress/skirt. I did consider buying the By Hand London Flora dress but decided it wouldn't suit me, unfortunately.  :'(
