You did brilliantly well to find two matching pieces - andin all honesty no-one will notice unless you point it out to them.

Have a celebratory  :toast:   and a slice of  :cake:
Brenda.  My machines are: Caroline a Singer 201K-3 born in 1940, Thirza a Featherweight 221K born 1949, Azilia a Singer 201K born 1957 and and Vera, a Husqvarna 350 SewEasy about 20 years old. Also Bernina 1150 overlocker and Elna 444 Coverstitcher.

Blimey that's a project and a half DF. As usual on your blog posts I enjoy looking at the pictures even if I don't understand the words!

Blimey if I've written incoherent claptrap, put me right!

And Brenda P:  there are FOUR matches there, all the peplum bits were insanely under-sized.  Pattern drafting of the lowest order...

The problem is entirely mine DF. I in no way meant to imply that you were at faultl  0_0 0_0 0_0 0_0  Garment making is a dark art to which I've yet to be initiated!

The saga is almost done.  Here's the blog post I wrote the other day, and edited to include the [almost] end of the business.

Aaaaand it's done!  Five blog posts, much swearing, money refunded, a review [with all 5 blog posts] on Pattern Review, and I can put this project to bed.
Here are a couple of pics, more on the blog

Tomorrow we're off to the botanical gardens with a group of 50...to hunt dinosaurs.  I will be wearing my black Edwardian dominatrix outfit, plus pith helmet.  Perfectly normal...
