What have I embarked upon?

I have finished my latest quilt top. I am going to hand quilt it, using Perle no.5.
I usually do straight line quilting, as, although I don't mind the actual quilting, I'm an impatient soul 
However....I am, at present, tracing an interlocking ( ish ) curved line pattern from a template ( using frixion pens).
Trouble is....I didn't register the relationship of the pattern to the quilt top size 
I think I'll be at it for ever!!

So if we don't hear from you we know what has happened, you'll do it, no doubt about it.

Ah once you get going you'll really enjoy it and it will be finished before you know it. Then you'll have to make another quilt just because you won't want to stop.

Hope you'll have the time to post progress pictures as I'm intrigued.

What size /type of needle have you found best for your big stitching?

I'm using a Big Eyed, no 12 at the moment, with Perle no5. Not too arduous to thread

Thanks it's just that I'm thinking it's the way to go with my unfinished quilts.

Oooh, I love a bit of big stitch hand quilting! When you are thinking that it's taking forever, just remember that it would take much longer with normal little hand quilting! :-)
