I second what DF says - although not when climbing over barbed wire.  That's lovely.

I made dresses like that in the mid 1980's, although woven rather than knit.  I did have a RTW dress in knit that was very like that.  I wore it until it became an even odder shape than me.
I might look as though I'm talking to you, but inside my head I'm sewing.

Ploshkin, that is a great looking dress, and you look fabulous in it  :)
Maybe he'll notice when you make a dress with a lorry or tractor print on it
Mr Manuela made noises about wanting to have light weight jeans for the summer, one in teat and one in red.... I'm afraid, I'm partly to blame for it  ;)

I should have added that I'm still making very similar dresses - sadly not in the same size though!

Summer dress ~ not for me, for one of my three great nieces (3 mths, 4 mths and 5mths old)

I have made my very first baby/child's item of clothing....you would think less fabric and an extremely simple pattern would mean easy, quick and stress free!!....oh no....trying to do bias binding on baby dress armholes is painful....

One down two to go  <3

Gosh Emma, how cute   :loveit:
I hear you on the bias binding on tiny arm holes - I made bias bound sleeping masks (with eyelashes) a while ago for my nieces... Never again

I'm going to a hen party in Edinburgh in November.

My best friend (also only singleton) tells me often that her weird crush is the Porage Oats man. No not the man on the TV adverts, the actual cartoon. She's going to have a good time.
