Just bought this and it arrived today..
It's beautiful quality, like a cotton lawn but a little heavier in weight.

Is this quite a thick feeling cotton? Almost waxy on the surface?

I absolutely saw the same print in Goldhawk Road today...

I so love TTC though!

I won't buy any fabric she says even whilst legging it over to the website.  :D

I blame it all on the departed Demented Fairy - she made some really whacky outfits from their fabrics - remember the parrot shirt? Crazy but great - and she brought TCC to my attention.  I am not going to look - I already have too much stuff from them - funny how it just slips into the basket!

Whacky?  Me?  Surely not...the parrot shirt still gets lots of wear, despite me making it pink in a recent wash.  Sigh.  What's that you say?  'sort the washing'?  Nope, can't hear you.

I have a new eBay guilty secret now though- Italian Textiles.  Oh yes.  Luxury goodness and some truly amazing quality stuff.  Fly my pretties, fly....

Oh yes, I've been buying LOTS from them.  Beware, they're not cheapo, the prices are per half metre, but the quality is outstanding.  I have made loads of steampunkery from it, and several top quality shirts [Hugo Boss linen anyone?]

My bank balance has suffered alarmingly because of DF  and TTC  :). I've looked at Italian textiles but I WILL resist - for now anyway.

The Textile Centre has shops in north east and east London, although they are small and only have a fraction of what's online.  I still have some lovely slightly stretchy floral from a couple of years' ago.
