Hopefully back more regularly! Ballroom sewing may be permanently paused but bag making is the current focus.

I watched the next one (well few actually!) and they have MA students from London college of fashion looking at Balenciaga clothes from the V&A and they had to recreate them.  I so wish I could have been part of that!

I went with a friend to see the exhibition at the V&A.  Some of the dresses were breathtaking and Balenciaga also influenced other designers who did their own 'versions' inspired by his creations.  You were allowed to take photos and I have loads.

Saw a dress on a weather girl today and my lovely Mum said 'oh I don't like that dress its the colour of a blancmange'

When I was little I read it off the side of the box as blank mange. It's still called that in my mum's house.  :|
