I usually go for 22" if it's to go in the back. This will give a good opening to enable you to get into it, especially if it's fitted, as it will go down to the hips.

I thought it would be 22 inch..... then why FFS don't Hobbycraft sell them!...the longest they stock is
20 inch.

I always buy 22" for clothing I'd rather shorten a zip than have to go back to exchange or buy another
