I saw that this morning.  What a lovely story and what a shame it is missing.  I wonder who has it and if they know what it is they actually have?

That is an incredible story, and an incredible quilt.
I don't understand why the quilt isn't in Queen Victoria's collection, I did hear nothing that is ever presented to the royals is kept forever. If it wasn't accepted or kept I hope whoever is responsible for its disappearance never rests in peace.
