Simplicity 2924 – thanks Fabric Lover
Curtain cotton for the outer and patchwork cotton for the lining
I went with iron on interfacing Vilene H250 rather than anything padded – jury out on that till I finish it.

Right, after advice from Ohsewsimple and Jo,  walking foot attached, new (sharp) needle, sections of bag held together by clips – clips are great!

Yeah, clips are awesome!
I still have a bag from Swoon (Stella) I need to finish. Need to baste some piping but I can't even...
Maybe later :D
Good luck with your bag  :D

Still working - slow and steady doesn't come close, I'm sure most of you could have made half a dozen bags in the time.

However, lining is now stitched to outer and I am about to turn them right sides out (or at least attempt to).

Well that went smoother than I expected.
Slow? Yes. Rusty? A bit. However it does look as if I haven't forgotten everything - just mislaid some of it.

Changing Mat
Cut out fabric, cut out vinyl, cut out towelling - clipped together.
Got out bias binding - 1/2" - seriously? That will never go round

OK, go into town tomorrow - if I can't get wider tape that will work then will look for 'bits' to put in the baby bag.
