What clever tricks did you use to match them up? Walking foot, basting, lots of pins, overlocker stretchy stitch? Great success :- )

  Using a single layer of fabric, I cut one front and one back. Then I laid out the pattern again. then I laid each cut piece on top of the pattern and moved them both until all of the stripes matched up. Then I pinned every other stripe.I did not even think about my walking foot...duh! I use a 3.20 cm straight stitch.
 This is a very nice knit with a gorgeous hand, it is  stable and  cooperated fully!
 I do love the fit and the look.
 I have some black and white and some purple and white knit.  And yes of course I need two more of this top.
We have summer 9 months of the year here. And a few cold days in December and January for layering.

This  little tank has garnered a lot of attention!
The sunglasses as well!
