It's a 306, a nice machine, and I think the only thing against them is the needle selection. They adjust them for the regular 130 needle system, but the original 206x13 needle is available on the web in a few sizes. Singer Sewing Info has a page on it. Cam sets for it are available, but the flat cams tend to cost a bit. I think they take the same cams as the 300 and 400 series, but it needs to be confirmed, so don't take my word for granted.

I can't get the link to open on my phone... booo eBay!

But 306s are cute! The needles are a largely defunct size but are available in 2 sizes at about a £1 a needle. The 306,319,320 all use flat cams (400s and forwards use top hat cams).

The cost of the needles makes these a bit prohibitive to use for everything, and it's worth stocking up on needles, because the supply may well dry up.

But the 300s have a good reputation for being tough sewing machines with a quirky Art Deco look.
A bit of a vintage sewing machine nut! Singers: 500a, 401g, 48k Elnas: lotus SP & grasshopper, Bernina 530-2 F+R 504, Pfaff 30, Cresta T-132
