Fajita, I'm not sure as I didn't measure (had 4m of fabric and cut what I needed). I think around two meters tho (pattern envelope says 2.1). Be sure to pick something with a bit more drape, my fabric was a bit on the rigid side (more suited for a tailored coat) and it creates more volume than necessary.

Looks really elegant and modern! I wish I lived in a country that required coats from time to time,  :P

Did you use a specialty thread for the topstitching?

I've been working on this today. Thought I started well, joined the neck, flat felled it, but could I figure out how to do the next bits?  Turns out I had managed to attach the neck bits in a sort of infinity join, so no wonder I couldn't get it to look right. Had to cut the join out and insert a piece to make it up.
Then, trying to join the shoulders, it makes more sense when you use the shoulder bits, not anything else.
I had trouble joining the neck/shoulders, but bodged it well enough. All flat felled.
I've done the sides, flat felled.
I've constructed and FLAT FELLED THE SLEEVES!!,both now inserted, but only one row of stitches so far on each sleeve.

I've finished mine. Pretty pleased with it for my first attempt at a coat.

That's fabulous!  Beautiful balancing of the pattern on the fabric, too.   0_0
I might look as though I'm talking to you, but inside my head I'm sewing.

Kind of you to say about the pattern balance, but it was totally more luck than judgement. Didn't give it any thought at all.

Only three pattern pieces in the coat. One back piece, two front pieces, and two sleeves.

That's called instinctive skill!   ;)

Fajita, it looks lovely! I love your choice of fabric too :)
How did you find the sizing?
I've given mine away to a cousin, it fit her much better and she liked it so much I just had to give it to her :) I hope at least she'll wear it, as I probably wouldn't have.

I think the sizing was spot on for me. I made it up in the biggest size on the pattern and didn't feel the need to change anything, the back, shoulders and sleeves fit well, but I do agree the flouncy front could be considered voluminous.

I've not worn it away from the house yet.
