Don't know if this fits here but I've been making dream catchers with vintage doilies and embroidery hoops..

Now why didn't you have that idea to share when I was tasked with making a dream catcher for LGD to stop the nightmares?  They are lovely - I bet they'll sell well!

Wow these are beautiful, what a good idea.  I love them but they don't like me!  I bought one years ago and had nightmares every night, I had to chuck it out  :(
Willing but not always able :)

These are beautiful! Wish I had the time to make one, I'd love to hang one in the window of my back bedroom. I like the one in your pic, the red and cream colours are lovely.

Make them!
The two pink ones are crocheted, the cream one has a crocheted edging, not certain about the centre part, photo isn't detailed enough but it's either netting or bobbin lace - plus all the extra bits added.

They are super, and a lovely way to use up charity shop finds or whatever.

Years ago when DD1 was a toddler she had a duck ornament hanging in her bedroom window.  One night she awoke and it must have been moving a little and throwing a shadow on the wall; it terrified her.  :'(

How big are they, Effie?  I bought some vintage doilies at the car boot sale this morning but they are small.

I paid 50p for 2 at the car boot.  Happy bargain hunting, Low.  I'm going to check out the charity shops for beads tomorrow.
