Marks and Spencer incorrect descriptions

I think M&S have a real problem lately describing clothing items on their website. There is no way on this earth this skirt can be described as " A line"!

Perhaps someone should tell them!  Looking at the other skirts in the side bar, almost all seem to be described wrong.  Straight or tulip shaped as A line, and weirdly A line as straight!

I seem to remember that there was a straight, knee length skirt that they described as a skater skirt earlier this year.

How on earth can descriptions like that get through all the people that must see them before they become official?  Do they have nobody who knows anything about clothes?  Or is some numpty adding the descriptions at the end of the process with nobody checking?
I might look as though I'm talking to you, but inside my head I'm sewing.

It's really weird. Working in fashion retail, the people who work in the garment tech departments do know exactly what they're talking about. Whole collections and moodboards are built off trends with names ("we need more midis this year! Midis are in!") so while I can see one or two falling through the cracks, I don't understand how M&S manage to get it so consistently wrong.

I wonder if we should put together an email from all of us and send it to them.

I'm not sure I would call this "round neck", especially as they have referenced roll neck, turtle neck and funnel neck on the same page, and list all their actual round necks on tees for example as correct:

Good idea Francesca about an email.  If anyone was searching for a particular style or piece of clothing the results would be way off.  They are supposed to be a reputable and respected supplier of clothing, surely their website accuracy would be important.

How very very odd that so many are wrong - I've never noticed as M& S is on a par with EWM for fashion in my opinion, so I don't look.  That's probably being a little unfair, but they do have a reputation for old lady clothes, and even though I'm now (almost??) an old lady, beige jackets and navy crimplene slacks are not my style  :P

Per Una and Autograph are more fashionable.  Some of the shoes are not bad either but, of course, the

prettier ones are too narrow for my fat feet.  :(  These are cripplers.  0_0
