I just love that I can come here to crow about things like this. Beats seeing my husband's face glazing over when I start my ranting.

401s are lovely machines and have a nice range of stitches... reasonably strong too, all metal (except the hand wheel cog) and direct drive, but they are prone to sticky cam followers.
