The sashing really makes this quilt.  Great work.  I trust you're not going to put it in a cupboard, Lowena.

Thanks girls.... it will probably end up in the crate Pearl, although I might sneak it onto the sofa as it's winter  ;)

Gorgeous!  Is that your birthday present fabric?  You can't possibly hide it away  it's so beautiful and, if it is your birthday fabric, a lovely memory of a special birthday  :D

That's really gorgeous, Lowena. I'm still floored at the measuring bit even when it's only right angles. You have some pieces going diagonally. I don't have a clue how you measured it all but I love it - and I love the name you gave it.  :D

Yes it's my birthday fabric Snowy, lovely isn't it?  <3
I followed a pattern Sewbee, it's a jelly roll quilt ( as it was a jelly roll I was bought for my birthday ) by Pam and Nicky Lintott. The blocks are made up of...2.5" squares, 2.5" x 7.5" strips and triangles cut from 2.5" x 15" strips. It did make my mind boggle a bit from time to time ( and I did have to use the unpicker once or twice  :| )
It'll probably reside on the sofa, if I don't muck up the binding  :D :ninja:

Really like belt, so warm and cosy looking and theme roses will remind you of summer during the chilly months ahead.❄️
