I'd be a bit wary of some of the prices on there. The Brother 1034D has never been as high as £358, it usually sells for around £189 so really it's only £10 off at £179, and it's ex display.

No problem! I only know because I've been thinking of replacing my 28 year old 730D 3 thread Brother overlocker (a forunner of the 1034D) for a while now so am familiar with the prices.

I got an 'ex display' model and it was in a sealed box, no way had it been used.  Is it a ruse so they can sell at a lower price without upsetting the manufacturers?
