Dont know that they post to the UK .... I have emailed them though.

If you were to send a small fabric parcel to the UK, how much would it cost you Polly?

I checked the Australia Post website and to send a large envelope up to 250 grams is about $9.00 by Economy Air. I'm not sure how much the fabric would weigh but this is in line with the shipping cost quoted on the website.
If you have any problem getting a reply to your email I can give the fabricpatch a phone call to confirm the availability and postage costs if you like.

I will call them tomorrow our time, it's a bit late today. Just to confirm, you need half a metre ?  Jelly rolls and fat quarters confuse me a bit!

Yes please Polly,

I need 1/4m minimum, but would like 1/2m, ideally off the bolt, but I will accept fat quarters if necessary.

Oh hang on, this has just landed ...

You can always estimate shipping on our website, by adding the items to your shopping cart and then estimate the shipping button in on the bottom left. Change the country and tadah....
Price for shipping is $9.90 without tracking.

So that makes  $9.00 for the 1/2 metre of fabric + postage equals $18.90 which in English is  £10.73 today ....

and from the US ...

$4.50 for the 1/2 yard + ??

She estimated $25 ... but stated that was for 3m's of fabric to Ireland. She says she goes to the P.O and gets the best price and adds $1.00 so I'm looking at an unknown quantity !

I have no idea what to do!  :(

I think you have already received a reply to your email but I rang the fabricpatch and confirmed the cost would be $18.90  in total. They also have plenty in stock.

Hard to compare when you don't know actual U.S. postage costs.

Oh no !
In all the excitement of finding the colour I'm sure I wouldn't have thought about the dot size.

What about printing your own fabric? It is not a complicated design to reproduce, though it might take a few goes to get the colour matching correct.

For example, Woven Monkey offer fabric samples and colour charts and their 41" wide cotton is £14.50/m. You can print a trial test swatch for £2.50.
