I couldn't afford the pre-done ones they're £200 plus. At least with this it's just the wood and dowels. I don't want the horrible cheap hardboard type you put up in a workshop. The sewing room is our dining room so it needs to look like a nice piece of furniture.

I think this is much nicer than a typical pegboard. This is a real style piece!

This https://www.amazon.co.uk/Wolfcraft-4522-Mobil-Drill-Stand/dp/B0001P19PO/ref=pd_sim_263_8?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=PMRA3TG2X4GCBE9CP2SD  might be better for getting your holes straight.  The one you looked at would need clamping which wouldn't be so easy in the middle of a board.
You are going to need quite a deep board to be able to make deep enough holes for big dowels, that may not be easy to find and possibly quite pricey?

That looks good, Manuela. I like the plug tower too.

Thank you Iminei, that's not a nook though, it's a whole room... a tiny one though, 1.95 m wide & 2.95 m long, and all mine  :)
Seriously, it's the first time ever that I've had a Sewing Room - so there all the bells and whistles like a chandelier or an Alice in Wonderland clock... I think are vital to MY sewing space....

It's gorgeous, Manuela!  I have similar pegboard in my sewing room too, it's invaluable.  My room is much, much messier than yours, though....  ;)
