Thanks for the link Morgan, I need a new cutting table. I may just pay my local Aldi a visit.

I see it's also height adjustable, so might be just the thing if I could work out the dimensions. :S

@UttaRetch
It looks like the highest it adjusts to is 94 cm - 94 cm is I think around kitchen worktop height-ish.
The other height settings that it will adjust to according to the blurb are 73 cm, 80 cm, and 87 cm.

Length is 2 m, width is 60 cm.

I'd like to find a way to raise my dining table another 6" because my lower back is screaming 'Buy one'.

Thanks Bodgey they look like they could work  0_0

Now I know that 1. such things exist, and 2. what they are called, I can hunt around and find the best ones suited to my table. Might be a faff though lifting the table on and off them, as it would still be a dining and sewing table in between cutting out sessions. My table is quite large and very heavy so I daresay that it might be a 2 person job, either that or risk putting my back out doing it...   :fish:

I'm looking forward to trying some out. I had been wondering about making wooden blocks to sit the table on, but these things look like far less hassle.
And cutting out should be a much sweeter experience  :snip:

Interesting, I thought as I have an aluminium camping table that we've found lots of uses for over the years.

"I don't need one, though", I thought. But now I've seen that adjustable height...I'm seriously reconsidering even though I know it won't take much weight.  :[
Hopefully back more regularly! Ballroom sewing may be permanently paused but bag making is the current focus.

I was in Aldi today and saw the folding table in the link that is now broken.  Whilst the length (just over 6ft) and height adjustability gives it potential as a replacement for my current tables, the width of two side by side is only 4ft.  I might just buy one to test the height and compare it the the width of my own tables.
