yes I do have some closer pics, but not here and now. I can show you some tomorrow evening, when we are back at home again.

I have just pieced all the churn dash blocks, then I measured their size and cut some background fabrics, on which I made the symbols with applique.

The wedding is next weekend.

That is fabulous Sakar.  Log cabin is a favourite of mine.
Life's too short for ironing.

Thanks for your nice comments!! :flower:

Yes, it's the first time that I have really sewn a LogCabin and I liked it. The pattern comes out from a book, I just modified the colours.

Yes, I quilted it on my home machine, but I don't like too much quilting. So I just sewed "stitch in the ditch" around all steps of the red logCabins. So it's simple and easy ;)
And it was a very light batting with just 2,5mm, it did quite well im my machine :)

What I have done and made in the last week...

A blanket with 60cm in diameter for our cats, inspired by the  Green Lake just a few kilometres away.

Thanks, Ruby  :)

I have forgotten to show you the bag for my old western guitar called "Lucky Luke" ;-) It's made out of 3 old trousers from Mr. Sakar :P, so I just had to buy some zippers and webbing.

The symbol in the front is a combination of a fish, which is a typical christian symbol, and.... a little bit of.... Star Trek....  :D
For cycling I have added some strips, so I can carry the guitar like a backpack.
And for dark winter nights I have included some reflection stripes.

I really like it, because it fits nicely to the western guitar and it's very practical. And it was cheap....  :P

Hello again,

After "a while" of small projects I can show you now some nice Quilts, which I have finished in the last days.

First: Jurassic Coast
Bargello pattern by Eileen Wright.
170x220cm, Batiks, warm and fluffy winter wadding, machine sewn and quilted.

Second: The sound of sea
Bargello pattern by Eileen Wright.
170x220cm, Batiks, thin cotton wadding, machine sewn and quilted.

At last, the "twins" together on one pic. ;)
