My simple in-seam pockets method

I have modified and simplified (for which read slapdash) this method of doing in-seam pockets.  I prepare my pattern thus (see below)



and then stitch the 5/8" allowance following the shape.  I don't bother with interfacing or stablishing the opening.  :D

Whhhhyyyy did I not think of this when I was doing Moneta pockets on the overlocker?! Such a good idea. I was faffing with the blade and kept getting horrid gaps.

I'll try this on my Stashbuster pants as I plan to put pockets where pockets weren't before!

I prefer this method as it eliminates the fiddly 1/4" seam.
