Sewing Spaces

3rd floor room cleared,
shelf units moved
height adjustable cutting & sewing tables bought, assembled and installed
portable plastic drawers (temporary) storage installed for fabric
Machines, equipment and supplies installed
Fabrics culled and only those fabrics that will be sewn up have been allowed in (As the fabric is used, the empty drawer units will leave the sewing space because the aim is to not have a fabric stash and buy by project)

finally got to sew with the new sewing machine ;D

Unable to load the photos into the Gallery (It doesn't seem to accept upload for sites other than the 'puter/device) so
instead the links -

Hi Morgan.. sounds like you have been really busy.... I particularly admire the line

you must be strong willed for that
is that your assistant Tilly boo with the new machine?

The last and only time the little pocket rocket got to supervise me so a poignant pic.
A few hours after that pic was taken last Friday evening, she died from injuries after being clipped by a vehicle.
Much sadness.

Awww, sorry to hear that Morgan. :'(
Much impressed by your organisation though (and your strong will - aiming to have no stash!)

Heartbroken and jealous at the same time (its a strange feeling!)

well I would! but then again, if wishes were fishes...

I'm sorry about your cat, so sad.

Your room is looking great and so organised. Good look with buying by project, been there and failed.

I am well impressed an envious Morgan, looks really.

I am so sorry about your loss.  We are having a few problems at the moment and my gut tells me it is not going to end well.

Morgan, you really do not want to see my sewing space - it's  a tip! Looking for fabric for the Sew along.

I haven't sewn for a few months so I've forgotten where everything was!  The 'space?'  is now a tip....   :'(

But I have found wonderful things!! ;)

Pics of the tip tomorrow!
