The most difficult bit of the piecing is the sub-blocks made from three triangles, but I split the centre triangle down the middle and made it with two pairs of long right angle triangles. Easier to trim to size doing it that way.
It's a mix of in-the-ditch outlining the flow of the design and hand quilting in the white spaces. The quilt is 56" wide so I never had to get more than 28" at a time under the machine.
