My toy cupboard...

The toys needed a home, so I've been renovating tatty old furniture as well as embroidering, sewing and machine knitting - how did I ever have time to go to work?

Hopefully there's a pic attached to this - I couldn't see how to put it in the post.

They are lovely and the display cupboard looks great... wanders off muttering I do not need more toys

Oooh, they look amazing. I had a toy sewing machine as a child and dearly wish I'd kept it. Where did you find these and how long have you been collecting?  :D

Gosh, what beautiful little machines.  The one I had as a small child was still around quite recently, I must ask my mother if she still has it.
Life's too short for ironing.

I've only been collecting this year - and all but two off ebay.   I have most of the common ones I think, still  keeping an eye out for others, although I must stop spending my inheritance, I need the rest for our extension and my old age!!!

They're lovely and look fantastic displayed like that. Do they all sew?

To be honest, I've not tried sewing with them, too busy trying to clean them up.  They all operate, but sewing may be a different matter...

They are beautiful - much more interesting than a china collection!

That's a lovely collection, and takes up much less space than the horde of old Singers that have found their way to me  0_0
