Hello. Lovely to be here. I joined a couple of weeks ago and I've just had my new (to me) sewing table delivered so I thought I'd finally say hello. I'm very much a novice but enjoying the process of cutting up perfectly good fabric and joining it back together in a different order so it looks lovely.

I'm fairly new to Lincoln and missed the Steampunk festival last year. However I'm planning to go along this year. Looks brilliant. Are you involved?

Only as a participant, but I met quite a few Lincoln folk last year, and have remained in touch via FB sewing groups etc.  Even if you're not part of the main high jinks, there are lots of activities and crazy happy folk all dressed up for the entire 4-5 days.

The button colours have changed and DementedFairy no longer has the hated bunting, but basically these are the different levels of membership.  There are no moderators at the moment, though.

Thank you. That makes sense. I don't know why demented fairy hates bunting so much but I'm less than fond of it myself after my daughter's wedding so I quite understand.
