Ideedy Lanty, I'd just come on here to carp say exactly the same thing.... how come anyone  is allowed tother than meis allowed to say they can't do something??? eh,eh??? 
I know I couldn't be accurate enough at any stage and I'd end up looking like I'd dressed from the rag bag 
I do love to see all the clothes you clever people make 
P.S. I have a "buttonhole" foot / attachment for my machine..... it looks like an instrument of torture

My cutting is not 'accurate' but it doesn't need to be, unlike in quilting.  My sewing is wonky, it doesn't matter [unlike quilting].

And I look like  a ragbag anyway, no matter how smart the clothes are when I put them on, they devolve instantly into a stained [I dribble], lopsided [I don't stand straight] wrinkled [I lounge] mess.  Meh, life's too short to stay tidy!
