best thread for quilting

A job very well done, be proud of yourself. I know that it will be appreciated, probably as a playmat to begin with -both DD and DDIL have put their little ones to bed in sleeping bags/growbags - yes I know, the mind boggles at growbags!!!! but with the warmer weather the two older ones have been sleeping under quilts. They are both over a year old now and the two year old was to it was a special quilt as he was so used to his growbag.  Your quilt may become a snuggle quilt as the boy gets older  too.

That's big enough for a standard size cot with a bit of tuck-in each side, or for use as a play mat on the floor.

I followed the pattern squares so that really determined the size.  It is big enough, as you say.
