The last couple of days I have noticed that I am not seeing some pictures if they are embedded in the post just getting the image below. If they are attached it's fine anyone any ideas what if anything is up

I'm finding the same. Windows 10 and Firefox 53.0.2 (32-bit) on my laptop.

Can anyone tell me some example posts they are seeing this?
Also what system you are using.

... although I'm sure I could see it a few days ago.
However, I have no problem with Lyn-J's pictures in this thread (http://thesewingplace.org.uk/index.php/topic,869.msg14686) (which use url tags around img tags around a url from Flickr).

I'm not pressing my seams, because the fabric is full of starch and leaving gunk all over my iron. this is ok as the seams are not being crossed by others.

If it's the table with the barley twist legs, I can't see now either.
Mac 10.6.8/Firefox 48.0.2 - can go beyond this version.

This isn't an issue with the forum, it's more an issue with the pictures that have been uploaded.

I think it's just 'cos Google Photos isn't image sharing software but an image storage system, so they don't like you hotlinking.
