Wait. There is a CHAT ROOM?! :S where have I been? Must check it out asap!
How do I access it tho?
-
Snap Jo!
-
The chat box at the bottom right of your screen tells you how many people are available. If you click it you see a list of names. Click on a name and you are able to chat to that person in private
-
Isn't the chat room only for subscribers (who have paid a small subscription) and not available to people who have only registered?
-
Good point Brenda :flower:
Pay up and chat up :D ( only a tenner a year ;) )
-
Subscribers have 4 red buttons, registered people have one green button and mods/admin have five blue buttons.

If you insist Madam!!! hahahahaha Thx for subscribing Jo x

As far as I know a member is shown as being logged on and available but they may not actually be looking at the site. Presumably if they are at the computer they will get a ping to say there is a message but if they've gone away they might not hear it. So dont get miffed and think you are being ignored :)

Is there also a common chat room? Or can you only chat with each person separately?
-
I can't find the chatroom.
-
As far as I know the chat-room was closed down because it wasn't used enough.
-
I can't find the chatroom.
There was a vote among subscribers shortly after the discussion here, the vast majority voted for closing it down as it was never used (and annoyingly popped up on tablets).
-
In addition, the chatroom software was incompatible with the security certificate. If users had wanted it to continue we would have had to find a different chatroom anyway.

Thanks @Manuela and @Acorn
