Title: Tape measures
Post by: Bodgeitandscarper on June 12, 2017, 19:12:15 PM
I thought it would be a good idea to buy some self adhesive tape measures for a couple of my machines, so found some at only £1.99 each.  I now know why they are so cheap - hopefully when the thick backing paper is off they will smooth out!

Oh no!
I hope they flatten out for you. Maybe a big book would help?

I bought one some time ago, not exactly cheap.  I stuck it to my cutting table.  It was very useful....for a while and then the top started to part company from the base.  So I was left with a white strip and no numbers!  not very helpful.  Hope yours flatten out ok.

That's appalling. I think I would ask for a refund. No attempt to package carefully. They might be cheap but they should still be fit for purpose

I probably should complain, but for a couple of quid, it hardly seems worth the effort.  I think once they are unpeeled from the backing paper, they'll be ok.  The tape part is quite thin, so should smooth out.
