Title: Singer 15 treadle belt
Post by: Si on June 15, 2017, 18:51:31 PM
I've just inherited a Singer 15-88 treadle machine and am very excited. Where is a good place to buy a new treadle belt please?
Can I use feet for a 201 on it? (I have a 1952 model).
Is there anything else I need to know as a complete treadle novice??
thank you!

I bought my belt from Helen Howes

I would think the feet from a 201 would be fine, but I don't have a 15 here to compare so someone else best jump in on that.
Enjoy  :)

I think everything except from the bobbins can be used from your 201 accessory box. If you want to search down a separate accessory box for you 15, they turn up regularly on ebay and various places. If it's the model with stitch length lever the feed dogs can be lowered and there's no need for a feed dog cover.
