Hi
2 to 3 months ago I saw a dress pattern I really liked. I probably noted the number but I dont remember where.
I@m fairly certain it was one of the big name pattern companies.
The style was a plain front, shift dress style & the back had a gathered panel towards the hem. I've probably not described it very well but can anyone help?
I've looked through webites with no success.
TIA

No, sorry can’t see one either. Had a look at Vogue, Butterick and Mcalls.

Thanks Holly Berry
I'll have to keep looking for myself

I came across this

whilst I was browsing the McCall Pattern Company Instagram feed and wondered whether you mis-remembered the pattern details? It's not available in the UK but if this is the pattern, you can buy it here (https://voguepatterns.mccall.com/v9078).

Thanks uttaretch, that frill is almost it but the one I saw has the frill only on the back and not as much shaping with princess seams.
-
It was worth a try. Hope you find the pattern.

How about V9237 MISSES' A-LINE, BACK-RUFFLE DRESSES? I saw it on Jaycotts site.

Thank you, I hoped someone would put in the picture for me. Just hoping we got it!

Yes thank you. That's it.
Only now I'm not sure.
I do love swing dresses though.
I think I better buy the pattern & make a toile after you've gone to all that trouble to help me.

If you like this sort of style, Merchant & Mills has the Trapeze (http://merchantandmills.com/store/patterns/the-trapeze/) dress. See also: McCalls 7407 (https://www.sewessential.co.uk/misses-top-dress-mccalls-pattern-7407).

Absolutely no obligation! Only do it if you think you'll love it.
