I've started knitting a jumper! Oh yes I have indeed. It's so cosy knitting especially now the clocks have gone back.
I'm already more than half way up the back which is dead speedy for me.
Hope it looks OK on. If not I'll wear it in the garden. Knowing me I'll get bored by the time I get to the last sleeve. Hate having to do 2 the same!

That looks great... love the colours :loveit:

Pretty wool. That's going to be a lovely garment.

That's lovely! I have exactly the same problem with sleeves - when I've done one I want to do something different... :|

Lovely wool and I love that cowl neck.

Knit the sleeves 2AAT (two at a time).
2 balls of yarn with long needles or a circular working back and forth. Just make sure that when you stop you have both sleeves on the same needle and that way not only are you sure to get both sleeves the same length but you also avoid the dreaded second sleeve syndrome.

OOh that's a good idea Brenda! You devil
I'm definately going to do that because if you leave the last sleeve till last - it kinda never gets done!

Is that James Brett Marble yarn? I'm using that in turquoise colour, it's really quick to knit. I'm just about to embark on the second sleeves

Love that sweater Jane! Wish I could knit quicker then it could go on my list. ;) Love the yarn too, beautiful colours....

Yes it's JCBrett marble.

That yarn looks to knit up beautifully - your stitches are so even. <3

My Gran always used to knit both the sleeves at the same time, with 2 balls of yarn. It's quicker, saves you getting bored, and ensures your sleeves are identical.

I've done that with socks. Two at a time.

That looks just like the jumper my mum has knitted for herself at least 3 times. Very cosy, she wears the older ones up the garden ;-)
I'm sure she won't mind me saying that although she's a fair few sizes bigger than the model it looks good, perhaps better as he doesn't look like she'd drown the the collar if the wind caught it.
