Me neither and looking at last year's (http://aninoogunjobi.com/2017/05/portia-lawrie-wins-overall-dressmaker-year-20162017-competition-make-today/) winning entries, it not my sort of thing anyway.  I also don't care to be judged by a certain ex-Sewing bee contestant.

I attended a few Libby Rose classes when she had a workshop in Greenwich Market.

I thought it looked a bit odd - I looked at the "everyday" category to see what the rules/requirements were, and there don't appear to be any, just the category title.  Looks to me like your photo composition and a "stand-out" fabric would win it rather than the actual sewing quality.

I may enter then as I have a rather nice parrot printed denim shirt dress made from a Simplicity pattern and a husband who teaches photography!
