Just bought three Natalie Bray books in an Oxfam bookshop, Dress Pattern Designing, More Dress Pattern Designing and Dress Fitting, all like new, £5 each! Bargain, Christmas pressie to myself!

Wow! Well done for being in the right place at the right time. Enjoy them

Don't you love a bargain :loveit:

Well done! Lovely to get a bargain, the thing with charity shop finds is that they are unexpected - and all the better for that!
Enjoy Mo! :)

Excellent books too. Although they don't include knits, lots of the styling is useful for dance dresses. I've been looking for a different construction of neck cowl for the back of a dress to the usual 'grown-on' design and there it was in 'More Dress Pattern Designing'. :D

Lovely! I like a nice book bargain :) more books to keep an eye out for! At least they don’t go out of date unlike my technical books.

@Mocarroll: I have a softback edition of

which I bought from someone on the 'old place'. However, I can't get my head around the maths. :(

I have her Dress Pattern Designing (metric edition) picked up from the local second hand bookshop a few years ago. I occasionally dip into it to get ideas for tweeking a pattern.
