Title: Alterations in Sheffield

My daughter has just contacted me to ask whether, if she can't find a dressmaker, I would be willing to alter a friend's bridesmaids dress for the wedding of a second friend. Despite having made 9 bridesmaids dresses for the weddings of my two daughters in the last three years I know that alterations are a whole different kettle of fish. So I'm not willing to try. However, she seems to be having difficulty finding someone who might be able to help (she lives in Sheffield) and I thought one of you lovely people just might be able to do something. No idea on timings or fabrics or anything but thought I could ask. Thanks.

Sorry Lincoln Hobbit can't help  :(.....but if you google alterations Sheffield several companies come up
