Title: Sewing cabinet?
Post by: Efemera on October 10, 2017, 17:59:06 PM
I've seen a nice little sewing table but it has a Singer 201 fitted, can I swap it for my 306?

Well I know the 319 is the same base size as a 201 - and the Singer site says

"The Singer model 319K and 320K zigzag sewing machines were developed from the model 306 machine."

So I'd say YES  :)

(Cant resist the question "what are you going to do with the 201?)

Picked it up today...it's filthy but only with layers of dust otherwise looks like new.
A bit of a bargain at £45. It has the original sales receipt. I was going to take it out of the table and put in the 306 but it's too nice and I think it should be left as originally bought

That does look fairly un-used!  But how much money back in 1956???
