Not sure whether this should be here or in the fabric section but as a lot of people use batiks in P&Q I thought I'd post it here.

I've just had an update from FabricGuild and I thought some of these were lovely. I will probably go back for a second look and hope that OH has hidden the card :(

I absolutely love batik.  I have two or three pieces waiting to become dresses, or maybe skirts.

I've just had a quick look at your link...  0_0 ... see you later!
I might look as though I'm talking to you, but inside my head I'm sewing.

Don't much care for batiks.... reminds me too much of 60s tie die.

Thanks for the link.   :fabric: is on the way to my house.

Does anyone know if the Fabric Guild is worth a visit?

I bought  a load of batiks last time we were in Malaysia - totally carried away - and there they looked lovely. Got them back home and look so different and I can't think I'd ever wear them!

Last year I made a couple of summer dresses from batik fabrics (from Doughty's) and hopefully it will soon be warm enough to wear them again.
