I'm afraid if there was a fire it'd be a waste of time trying to save any patterns because my machines and stash would be gone too perish the thought  :'(

They can all burn. I'll be trying to save cats and myself. Not necessarily in that order.  :ninja:

All the pdfs can be reacquired if I can remember the companies. I assume the computer and machines are destroyed. Fact is I know they are. Neighbor had a minor candle fire in one room with a bit of smoke damage. However the electric circuit box is there on the outer wall and wires were damaged. Whole house needed rewiring. And there might be a touch of asbestos involved. Insurance turned it into a hazmat scene, gutted the place down to the stucco walls, roof, studs and cement slab. Some ceramic and glass items were saved but everything else was destroyed, just not by the fire. Took 9 months to retrofit. Lovely and modern now. We have the same model. There is a small element of envy of having it all redone. No one was injured.

Use the precious stuff.
