Hey everyone. I'm Lynda from near Toronto, Canada.

I have been quilting for 17 years and started sewing cosplay last year. Looking forward to being here.

Hello @LyndaJ and welcome to our little place.

I visited my sister who lives in Pickering last year and my nieces took me to Toronto and many other places.  Love the double-decker GO trains.

I spy a lovely pieced quilt in you avatar.
Brenda.  My machines are: Corona, a 1953 Singer 201K-3, Caroline, a 1940 Singer 201K-3, Thirza, 1949 Singer 221K, Azilia, 1957 Singer 201K-MK2 and Vera, a Husqvarna 350 SewEasy about 20 years old. Also Bernina 1150 overlocker and Elna 444 Coverstitcher.

Thank you Brenda. That quilt I named Garden Star was pieced while my mother-in-law was dying. We didn't know she was terminal at first which was when I got started. I ended up donating it to the hospice where she passed away.
