You can see them here.  I haven't had a chance for a detailed look, but summer patterns are not usually my thing.

Quite surprised - a more grown-up selection than McCalls have been of late. Much more wearable clothes. Nothing that is grabbing me though. I am resigned, I think, to re-hashing the patterns I already have.

They all look so old-fashioned, but that's the "thing" these days isn't it?

the ony one that caught my eye did of course turn out to be a Tilton -

A lot of them are quite 'mumsy'  :o

I'm beginning to think I'll never buy another pattern again, I like the ones I've got  ;)

Nothing I would go out of my way to buy, and, doesn't it just bug you that the PDF patterns are the same price as the printed ones?
It's not easy being this perfekt

I actually liked a few of them for once. Clever use of fabric, embellishing etc could turn an ordinary looking garment into something special. I will wait for reviews to see what others think.

Awful sample fabric

Strange mashup.  Would anyone manage to crack the fit?

About the only thing I might be tempted to make.

I'm not normally a fan of Butterick, but there are quite a few in this collection that caught my eye.

Frills are in then.  Nope, too old for those!

Meh. What is it with tie belts? And asymmetrical hemlines showing knees? MY DH reckons most people have unattractive knees.

Nothing much there for me... only the Tilton shirt dress made me look twice.

My knees are like dumplings, but don't forget that the models are taller than average so most of us won't be exposing the knees if the garment is made without alteration.

I like B6761 but agree with @UttaRetch that the chosen fabric is a horror!

Assymetric hems are not for me. I just look at them and think "Why?".

I like the shirt version of the Tilton pattern but that's probably because they have managed to put together 3 nice fabrics in the making of it. I wouldn't rush out to buy it unless it turned up in the UK in a half price sale. It's not difficult to make your own version with different fabrics though - with a bit of care you can colour block or piece patterns quite successfully (as they did in the latest GBSB - oops hope thats not a spoiler!)

So if I want to make something like this I would just use and existing shirt pattern and chop it up a bit. The US site isn't doing the cut price sales it used to at the moment and I don't see much by way of sales in the UK - though sewdirect is doing some of the GBSB type patterns of the week half price.

I look at asymmetric hems and think "that looks much more interesting than a boring straight hem"  0_0
