I really like the way the sleeves turned out. Sort of fluttery.

Thanks @Puzzler I did a rolled hem on the overlocker to make them wavy  :)

So now I have the s-t-r-e-t-c-h bug! I am making The Drape Dress, a free pattern with Simply Sewing magazine. I had issues at first with the fabric not wanting to be stitched. I used a jersey needle but that was no good so ended up with a universal needle - better but not good enough  :( I have to put tissue paper underneath to stop the needle taking the fabric below the needle plate.  I soon realized the fabric has very fine rubbery strings in it.  Don't know what the fabric would be called  -<

I am asking if there is an easier way or a special way to do this, I am looking for suitable paper all the time.  Does anyone know the best way to approach this?
