Type of machine / stitch

Hi all,

Not sure if i'm posting this in the correct thread or not. Would anybody here know what type of sewing machine / stitch is used on these lycra cycling shorts? I thought it maybe an overlocked stitch but an overlocker cuts the material when it sews and here it looks like 3 separate pieces of material sew on top of one another with seams on both sides. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've replaced the links with images (using the img tags) because links are not allowed in posts until you have been a member for 2 weeks and made at least 25 posts as per the membership agreement.
I might look as though I'm talking to you, but inside my head I'm sewing.

It is indeed a coverstitch machine..... although that is a dual sided coverstitch. There’s only one domestic machine that will do that and it’s Brother

There’s lots of other coverstitch machines that do one side only which is what most people use.
