I hadn’t seen that one @UttaRetch, that’s a very smart pair. 
I notice there’s also instructions on Megan Nielsen's blog as she did a sew along.  The way they are cut means a lot of it is on the bias and gives a lovely drape.

I liked the Tania pattern too but didn't know how much it would cost if coming from the US. Now that the Burda one has to come from Oz, it's six and half-a-dozen. It's my sister's choice, anyway.

@Flobear There is a pdf digitised multisize version of a vintage pattern very similar to the one UttaRetch posted upthread on Etsy. (I assume this is okay because it would be out of copyright? These things always worry me! I think sewing patterns are 25 years from publication though.)

I want a pair of culottes now. I have the Tania pattern but I fancy something a bit more A-line. Trying to work out if these would work as dungarees...

Me too.  I always wonder what loophole these people are exploiting.
