Oh! I've been planning one of those because I reckon the fabric can't get away from you into the softness of an ironing board.
Does that make the points meet up perfectly too????  :ninja: Just thought I'd ask.  :S

Ooh - Mr Acorn thinks he has a piece of heavy duty plywood.
I might look as though I'm talking to you, but inside my head I'm sewing.

So does Mr Pearl but I didn't make him go down to the garage to fetch it yet

Well Mr Wrenkins is me so I'll pick some up tomorrow when I'm out. The piece in my garage is too small and also boggin a bit grubby.

I have mine!  (He volunteered to go and look, honest!)  It was a bit cobwebby, but we gave it a vigorous brushing and I think it will be OK.  It's a bit larger than necessary - maybe 18in square, but I can cope with that, no need to cut it down.

Haha - in the cold light of day my plywood is actually 23inches square!  No matter, I will just need more than a fat quarter to cover it!  It will still fit behind a bookcase when not in use.

You can buy these from the big boys or make them yourself.

I have a small one made by a local lady who sells them ridick cheap and a professional one from Omnigrip which is just glorious and has a cutting mat too ... It all folds up together to contain your half made blocks from the workshop you've just attended (If ever again!)

I have been moaning about my ironing board for ages - now i know why. (not used for clothes
Bet Mrbeej doesn't have any as his train set uses thinner stuff, I can but ask!

A FQ came today - well several - but the one is a really yukky yellow, that will do fine for pressing on.
Now I have everything almost - FQ, wadding, staple gun, somewhere to stiore it but no ......
