I'm speechless, they're fantastic.
Life's too short for ironing.

Thank you for your kind comments. What you haven't seen is the dozen or so wallets I made whilst practising. Oh, so many mistakes!

You must be some teacher to give the students a leaving gift.

I am so incredibly fortunate to work in this school. Without a doubt, it's the best place I have ever worked. This year's leavers were in Reception when I joined, so they're the first class I've seen progress all the way through primary school. I'll miss them, of course.

They are fabulous and I am sure they will be treasured.  My DT teacher made me a wooden ornament made up of my initials for my 18th birthday.  I still have and treasure it to this day, some 30 odd years later.

Nice work indeed, especially seeing they've been done as gifts
Occasionally do leather work myself, so appreciate the hand-stitching and time put into these

Thank you. There is a steep learning curve for working with leather, but I'm glad I've learned the basics. It's deeply satisfying to sew by hand; time consuming, but so satisfying.

I've upped my game a little – the local stables have lent me a saddle that needs repairing, which means I have to learn how saddles are constructed before I dare to make a start.
