The website has been very slow today and this evening I'm getting Internal Server Error messages when I try to view different threads

It is sporadically slow for me, too, but I'm not receiving any errors.

EDIT: in attempting to post this, I received a 500 error. Yet moments later I posted to a different thread successfully.

I've had this several week'ends and today I got an under repair notification. It frequently times out. I've reported it to @Acorn but mine was the only complaint.

I am trying to get hold of the webhosts.
I might look as though I'm talking to you, but inside my head I'm sewing.

Had a 500 error logging in just now, and running slow now and earlier today.

And again trying to post this!

I had the 500 thing briefly yesterday and it has been very slow for the last couple of days.

First they said that it loaded fine for them.  (I pointed out that it didn't for me.)

Then they said that there had been a problem with sites starting with the letter 't', but our site was fine.  (I pointed out that it had just taken me 17 seconds to load a page.)

Then they said that actually there is still a problem, but they are working on it.

I asked when it would be sorted.

"Fixing this issue as soon as possible is currently our top priority.  Unfortunately, I am not able to give an estimated timeframe."

Then they said it had been sorted.  I pointed out that it had just taken 12 seconds to load.

They have now 'contacted our next tier of Support to check the case.'

'Unfortunately, the issue with the high load on the T sites has re-appeared. Our System Administrators are still working towards a permanent fix.'

We'll have another go at them tomorrow if it hasn't been sorted by then.  It does at least seem to be intermittent now.

It's been variable for me over the last two days.  Sometimes fine, sometimes a bit slow (5-10 seconds)  sometimes very slow and twice I've had the internal server error.
