Oh excellent @Iminei  , a new challenge. I’ll try to get round to it, but I still have my pink quilt on the go and I keep getting requests to make face masks, now that it’s mandatory in shops in Scotland. I’ve done 55 at the last count- not the most creative activity! :\

Ok @fajita ... Which pattern were you following ???  :o

Is it meant to be this way up or ???

 [ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

Are the yellows your lights? or the pinks?  and you've made more than 3 blocks ???

@Iminei  it's fajita's block.
I haven't got anywhere near to getting mine done. I was stuck in curtain-hell yesterday, so got no further than looking at fabrics.

I think it looks great @fajita. It's the same but with fancy bits.  :loveit:

@Iminei I followed your instructions for my first attempt and it ended in the bin (I managed to not get 60 degree angles  :facepalm:) So I sort of freestyle and followed for my second attempt. I have plans to try again following your instructions. Maybe

@fajita  ... You dont want to see me prototypes really you dont!

This one really has to do with accuracy of the measurements and also placing the diamonds and triangles correctly ...

Theres nothing wrong with your block per se, but its a bit odd that out of the 6 background fabric triangles  you chose to cut 4 in tumbling block fabrics ... it slightly spoils the illusion of 3 blocks standing on their own a bit ...

But as I always say ... its your block, your quilt, your design ... Didnt you make this wonderful creation one year ???

Guilty as charged. But I’ve had a sleep since I made that creation. Sort of wish I’d kept it. Took my brain some work, lol.

@Lilian
A set-in  or Y-seam joins diamonds and diamonds to triangles. It isn't difficult but requires a little patience and thought.

I loved that blue one @fajita. If I'd been at FOQ I'd have wrestled it off you and made a donation to Project Linus!  :loveit:
